The Genesis of your gaze (translation from Spanish)

I lie,
Observing the Genesis of your gaze,
Looking for you without triumph
And departing for an everlasting exodus
That is not your end nor your smile
But beginning is your eyes.

Because what I want
Is to write in your whispers
The waves of the sea, the moon, my words;
Following the rhythm of the stars
Genesis coming in a day
And the Apocalypse to the other.

End, time is up,
There is nowhere to run in this world
And no one lives in heaven,
And the spirits of the tombs rise
In search of that divine gaze
Which still lacks a face today.
